The Evald Tang Kristensen Society was founded in the spring of 2025 by storytellers, musicians, researchers and others with an interest in folk tales and songs.
The folklorist Evald Tang Kristensen (1843-1929) is the collector who has collected the most folk tales and songs in Denmark, and the society celebrate his contributors every month on the website evaldtangkristensen.dk.
